Columbia Men’s Powder Lake II Jacket – Review

After much deliberation, I decided to go with this jacket. I didn’t have much to spend but I needed a new winter’s jacket anyway. The price is very low on this jacket and the shipping was free. So this made it very tempting for me to go with this particular model.

I was afraid that the quality might not be all that for the low price at which I got it. But as it turned out, I was pleasantly surprised upon the arrival of the jack. I tried it on instantly and it was considerably better than I had anticipated.

There is no doubt about it… this jacket can definitely keep you warm! Not only did I try it out indoors, but also outdoors early in the morning when it was still very cold. My hands still got cold, but that’s my own fault for not putting on gloves. The jacket snugly fits my body and keeps it warm to the touch.

I like how the sleeves fit over my arms. They also feel very comfortable at the wrists. I can modify the openings of the sleeves so that they will always fit comfortably.

The Powder Lake II jacket also has plenty of pockets so there’s more than enough room for my stuff. The material is both water and stain resistant. So even when you have the unfortunate luck of gutter water dripping down on you, you’ll still stay both dry and clean!

There are many more jackets out there that are way pricier than this one. While those jackets my cater to those who appreciate style and class, I seriously doubt those jackets will give a person the same price/value as this one does. At less than $60 + free shipping, this jacket is a complete steal. I almost felt guilty… like I was ripping the Columbia company off or something.
